Stay True and You will Win

I remember when I was a child I went home and crying, I told my mom that my friends cheated in the examination at school and as the result they got high scores..instead of cheering me up and keep blaming the cheated friends, she asked me,"so you're not cheating?" Yes, I replied,"but I got lower score because of being honest", then she asked me again,"was the teacher doing the right thing giving you that score?", Yes, I said, "But..."

She then said,"you got lower score, and you blame your friends for your failure, the fact is, you didn't study hard enough, listen to me, no matter what your friends were doing in the examination, you will still get high score if you're studying hard for the test."

after that, I made a promise to myself that I will never, ever blaming other people for my failure, but I will stand up, keep on fighting and stay true to myself.

Yesterday I read the news about Miss California (runner up of Miss USA) stood up for her beliefs about marriage as she told the world that she believes marriage is only between a man and a woman, I said to myself, what a brave girl she is, and although she didn't win the contest, she's the real winner because she chose to be true to herself and stood up for what she believes no matter what.

The same thing also happened to Susan Boyle, a 47 years old woman who entered the "British Got Talent" reality show, first got humiliated by audience, but she remained strong and after she sang the song she got the biggest applause and admiration, not only from the audience but from the people around the world who sees her through TV or Youtube, what I learn from her is that, if you are really what you believe you are, never be ashame to show it, for the world will never be an obstacle of the truth, if you really have it in you.
